Weekly evaluation:

Define your most important accomplishments relevant to the previous period in order of significance.

The most important accomplishment for this week was my initial development of research. Because after being taught by Chris, I gained a better understanding of how development works through collage and visual responses, which is really helpful for me in terms of constructing processes. The using of multi media and techniques also helped me diverse my development. The second accomplishment is a deeper understanding of my working progress, as I have done more critical review of myself and others, in order to understand my progress comparing to the others. This was a really good strategy to me.

Strategies used during this week.

I used my collage and drawing skill a lot. Such as colour blocking, continues line, taking line for a walk, and collating with multiple materials. I also used time management strategies to keep me on the right track, and make me not procrastinate in the leaning/study period.

3.Define your biggest challenges and how did you solve them during this period.

This week’s biggest challenge would be the lacking of idea and time management. Firstly, I was lacking idea while creating 2d visuals, such as collages. So I overcame this by researching more materials and different areas of my topic. I solved the time management problem by using the 1hr,5 min technique (details are below). It was really helpful in terms of prevent me from procrastinating.

Define the areas you consider that you should improve and your improvement plan.

I need to definitely improve on my time management skill, as I have been procrastinating some time, and I improve this by setting a hour study and 5 min break strategy (in repeat). In this way, I could understand when to study and when to take break, it also allows me to focus better and give me more time tohave reasonable break without panicking. I am also sometimes lacking ideas, so I improve this by redoing some research again. Identifying which area to do research more on and spend time to study the topic thoroughly.
